Paul Bradbury
I am a Brit, living in Croatia since 2002, and doing business with varying degrees of failure in Albania, Bosnia, Croatia and Montenegro. It is a great region with some very colorful characters and traditions, some of which I will be writing about.
I published my first book, Lebanese Nuns Don't Ski (now available on Kindle) in 2010 and have been writing for Suite since late October, 2010. I was delighted to be one of the three recipients of the inaugural Newcomer of the Month Award in December and with the help and encouragement of my new colleagues, I published my second book Hvar: An Insider's Guide to Croatia's Premier Island in June 2011 to help visitors explore the beauty of my adopted new home. It is available in paperback, Kindle, PDF and iPhone and was a fun entry into the world of e-publishing. People interested in Hvar may also enjoy my photoblog of life on Hvar.
I have been fortunate to have travelled extensively, from aid worker in Rwanda and teacher in Hiroshima to laser crystals salesman in Moscow and male chambermaid in Munch, and I am currently working on my third book, Around the World in 80 Disasters, a collection of humorous real life stories that happened to me during my travels. I have uploaded a few of them to one of my blogs. Any publishers out there who might be interested in a best-selling stocking-filler for next Christmas, don't be shy!
I hope you enjoy my writing and the blog, and I look forward to hearing from you. All comments welcome, both positive and (constructive) negative.
Cheers Paul
